These terms govern your use of MyMatch Buea. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You must use your real identity for verification and provide accurate information.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
- The platform is intended for singles seeking genuine, meaningful relationships.
Verification
Access to discovery and introductions requires identity and age verification. We may approve, reject, or later revoke verification at our discretion to protect the community. Submitting false or altered documents will result in removal.
Your conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, deceive, or abuse other members.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or intentions.
- Post unlawful, hateful, or explicit content.
- Solicit money, airtime, or financial information from members.
- Use the service for prostitution, trafficking, or any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to access other members' private information.
Fees and payments
MyMatch Buea is currently free to use. Joining, verification, browsing, liking, matching, and messaging carry no charge, and the service does not request payment from you anywhere.
We may introduce paid features in future. If we do, we will publish the terms and prices on the pricing page before they take effect, and no payment will ever be taken without you authorising that specific payment yourself. Features that are free at the time you joined will not be made retroactively chargeable without notice.
Where a payment has been made, it is taken via Mobile Money and recorded against your account. Because a purchase takes effect as soon as payment is confirmed, such fees are generally non-refundable, except where a payment is charged in error or a refund is required by law.
Conversations and connections
We introduce verified members to each other and provide the private chat they talk in. We do not guarantee that any member will like you back, reply to you, or that any conversation will lead to a relationship.
Conversations happen inside MyMatch. Your phone or WhatsApp number is never given to another member by us. If you choose to share it, you do so at your own discretion, and anything that happens off the platform after that is between you and that member.
Reporting and enforcement
You can report members who break these rules. We may investigate, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms or threaten the safety of the community.
Your safety
MyMatch Buea verifies identity but cannot guarantee any member's conduct, honesty, or intentions, especially off the platform. You are responsible for your own decisions when communicating with or meeting other members. Please read our safety guidance.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of any member or for interactions that take place off the platform, including any harm, loss, or damage arising from meeting or communicating with other members.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the community at risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
